Mt. Olive Cemetery Clean Up Day
Come out and help clean and restore Mt Olive Cemetery, the oldest African American Cemetery in Clarksville. There are over 1300 indentured slaves buried on the 7.3 acres.

Where: Mt Olive Cemetery
The day will start at 8:00 AM, with an opening ceremony, and close at 4:00 PM with a closing ceremony. Including Civil-War rein-actors. We plan to mark each grave site (which are sunken due to the wooden boxes slaves were buried in having deteriorated) with a small American flag.
